A Place for People
We're a place to get delicious, homegrown food but that's not all! OXCM believes that everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy food. We're building a local food community that works for everyone, where friends gather, families learn, kids play and life is good!
Through a partnership with Baptist Hospital, Move on Up Mississippi, and United Way, OXCM provides a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $10, to customers using SNAP benefits at the market to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.
It's easy to DOUBLE your SNAP dollars at OXCM!

WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Voucher Program
We are Lafayette County's only redemption site for WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program Vouchers. These vouchers may be used only for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables. WIC is a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children. The program is administered through the Mississippi Dept. of Ag and Commerce. Last year, OXCM had the highest voucher redemption rate in the state!
One of our most successful programs! A weekly fresh food drive that invites OXCM customers to donate local food from OXCM vendors. We deliver the fresh food donations to the Oxford Food Pantry every Wednesday morning and to the senior citizens at Canterbury Crest every Wednesday evening. To get involved, sign up to volunteer!
Music at the Market
Sponsored by the Mississippi Arts Commission, Music at the Market makes diverse Mississippi music accessible to audiences through free live weekly performances. Our wonderful musicians literally sing for for their supper - through a partnership with MAC musicians go home with a beautiful harvest basket full of local goodies and a cash stipend! Want to play at the market? Contact Luke Fisher at 662.816.3219.
